How to hire for a changing brand.

When new owners Holly Beadle and Georgia Streeton took over clothing brand HERA, they wanted to rebuild the culture internally with new hires that better reflected their values.

HERA had initially found fame for its super-skinny jeans in the early years of Love Island, but its style had fallen out of favour. Alongside an external rebrand, new owners Holly and Georgia needed a new team to make the change happen.

The Growth Foundation’s Brand team helped them define those values. Our Talent team helped them find the people to live by them.

We created an org chart for HERA that showed who they needed to hire, and wrote job descriptions for each of those roles. We also gave them guidance on the hiring process and support across interviews and task setting.

Under Holly and Georgia’s leadership – and with the help of the new hires – the HERA brand has been given a whole new lease of life.
